I'm Back!

Hi everyone, I am so sorry that I have been quiet. A big internet company was fishing around, thinking of making an offer to buy this website I've created; something about it being a huge web traffic draw. Their offer was tempting - they said they would fill both of my piggy banks and buy me some onesies that aren't so tight - but in the end I wanted to keep doing what I was doing, so I am back blogging.

By the way, I am seven months old today -- can you believe it?

(BPM editorial comment -- what's so funny about the above picture is that if you look closely enough, he is actually sitting in front of the blogger homepage).

So, what have I been doing, you ask...lots of things. I continue to be just such a happy baby. I laugh and giggle all of the time. Mom and Dad bought me a new toy where I can bounce up and down, I just love it. I continue to hang out with Grandma and Jane when Mom and Dad go to work. I roll over like a pro and I can scoot around if I lay on my back and push with my feet (not so good at the crawling if I am on my belly).

I am very ticklish, I have to confess. Mom and Dad are determined to take full advantage of it.

I've been to probably more Reds game than any other baby my age. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Here's me with Grandpa.

I'm learning to sit up pretty reliably now, so it won't be long until I don't need help in the bath. But since I still tip over every now and then, Dad still hops in with me. I think he actually likes it and doesn't want to admit I don't really need his help like I used to; that's my theory anyway. No worry, as we have fun, I like having him along.

The only trip I have taken recently was into Kentucky over Memorial Day. First we went to Uncle Todd and Aunt Rebecca's in Louisville. Their dog Big used to be my size but he's growing a lot faster than me. Here I am laughing at him (safely on the other side of the door).

I didn't stay too long in Louisville at Papaw Boggs came and picked me up and took me down to Papaw and Mimi's house in Bardstown. So fun. I stayed with them without Mom and Dad Friday night and then everyone came over on Saturday. I had lots of fun hanging out, here's my favorite picture from the weekend.

But all of the fun made me a little tired, so I needed to rest.

Anyway, I am sorry I was gone so long. I hope to see everyone soon.

Love,
Jack
