Play Date

Today I went to play at my friend Merrie's grandma's house. It was lots of fun. They had horses, we played with toys, and we went swimming. Great times. Here are a few pictures.

First it seemed like maybe I was more interested in giving Merrie a hug than she was in getting one.


Then roles were reversed.

What I did on my summer vacation - 2009 Part 2

Some more pictures from the summer. These are from the late June, early July timeframe which is before the previous pictures. So, in a way, this is going back in time.

Anyway, I was really into making Mommy ride one of my cars and racing around the house.

A little while ago I was on a walk with Daddy and Luke. Luke started crying. Daddy asked me to hold Luke's hand to make him feel better. So, from them on I have been known to reach out to hold onto Luke just because. He's my sweet little brother, don't you know...

A few weeks ago Mommy, me, and Luke went to Papaw's house to visit Michiko and her family. Here's Luke and Michiko getting to know one another.


When I went down there Papaw and Mimi gave me a ukulele which I love to play, particularly Ba Ba Black Sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.


Of course I have often made it to the water this summer. Here's me and Grandpa.

A few weeks ago we went to a park where they had this fun water slide.


Summer has been so much fun.

A trip to the lake

I've been away for a while. I'm sorry about that. It's been a really busy summer. I'll try to tell a few stories about the summer.

One thing I did was about a month ago I went to the lake with Mommy, Daddy, Luke, and Mommy's family.

As is my practice at the lake, I was extremely active playing, particularly with my car and wagon. Here I am with the car.
