Two posts in as many days, how about that? I'm going to pretty much pick up right where I left off...

While Mommy was out of town, Daddy took me to get my hair cut again. You can see here, it was short!

Mommy and Daddy went to Colorado for a little while about a month ago. I stayed at Papaw and Mimi's house, which was so fun. Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy had the camera with them, so I have no pictures to report my trip. At least there is this picture of Mommy and Daddy's trip.

Here's a fun picture of me and Aunt Julie from Daddy's softball game a little bit ago.

I wake up slow these days. I like to hang out in my crib for a while before getting out. Here is one such time.

A few weeks ago we hung out with Geoff, Shellie, and Merrie. Merrie and I played together some - she didn't seem to be having much fun here.

The next day we went to the Alderson's 4th of July party. I had lots of fun playing in the pool with Daddy.

I showed yesterday that I like to read books in the chair in my nursery. Here, Mommy and I are looking at a book I love - a book that Daddy's Aunt Carol made him when Daddy was my age.

Let me tell you a few things I love to see - planes, boats, cars, trucks, and buses. Buses are best. A few weeks ago we went to the airplane observation area and watched the planes fly over. So, so fun.

This past weekend we went to Lake Cumberland with Papaw, Mimi as well as Aunts Rebecca, Francis and their families.

Here I am hanging out with Papaw.

Here's cousin Callie. She's a cute one.

Grandpa had been at the lake a little before and left me some treats for when I arrived. One treat was this baby pool which I occupied for a large portion of our trip. Here I am snacking on some ice cream in the pool.

By the end of the trip, I was worn out. I just hung out in the chair, had a snack, and watched a show.

So, I am pretty much caught up. I promise not to fall behind again.

Jack's Back

You might not believe it, but I am still here. I'm so sorry it's been so long. I have been a busy little boy, always on the move both in the house and around town. Fortunately, I have been taking pictures along the way. Here are a few things that I have been up to:

For my birthday gift, Kyoko Obachan had told Mom and Dad that I could get the toy of my dreams when I saw it. One day I was at the store and fell in love with trains and a train table. So, Mommy, Daddy, and Kyoko Obachan pitched in and got me a train table and lots of fun trains. I loved it at the time of this picture numerous months ago and I still love it today.

As the weather has gotten warmer, I love to bum around in my diaper whenever possible. Here I snuck away when getting changed.

I continue to go to the park a lot. When my friend Jane (she has her own baby now, so Aunt Maggie watches me while Mommy and Daddy work) was still hanging with me, she took me all the time. Mommy, Daddy, and Maggie do too.

I still love to hang out in my ducky bath - it's getting a little tight in there now. :)

Mommy and Daddy take me to the Graeter's on Fountain Square. Here I am with the remnants on my face.

I maintain my fascination with doggies. Here I am with Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Todd's dog. His name is Big and he is big. That didn't stop me from running my trains down his gate under his nose.

And here I am having a bottle with Grandpa with my favorite dog, Bailey, looking on.

A few months ago Mommy and I went to Chicago to see Kyoko Obachan and Ed (Daddy stayed home for Aunt Julie's law school graduation). It was a fun weekend.

I really love reading picture books. Here I am reading one with Daddy.

Like I mentioned earlier, with the nice weather, I love to hang out outside. Here's a picture of me playing with the water table Grandpa and Grandma got me. Bailey again looks on.

Here's me and Grandma sitting on the steps. Since we spend so much time together, we have lots of fun traditions and games. One of them is to sit on the step to play pattycake. Here we are caught in action.

So, that's a lot of pictures but I have many more to post. I promise to try to do so soon.

Love,
Jack
