What Else Have I Been Doing?

I've told some stories of some big things I have done lately. But that's not it, there are other things too. For example...

Eating solid food:

At the zoo with Mom and Dad...

...and at the zoo with Stephanie too.

Sleeping in my bed:

Hanging out with Sally:

And like always, hanging around the house with Dad...

...and Mom:

My First Reds Game

Last week I went to my first Reds game (remember that I just went to the parade on opening day). I really loved it. I really liked the bright lights and the people-watching.

Mommy held me for the first part of the game. By the way, Greg was there too and so was David.

I think the person that was having the most fun at the baseball was Daddy. I think I get it, a lot of his favorite people were there when you take into account me, Mommy, and Greg.

Yep, Daddy really seemed to be enjoying his time hanging out with me.

After a bit, I really needed to take a nap. Fortunately I can take a nap pretty much anywhere and I had my baseball pacifier handy.

We snapped one more picture on the way out. The baseball game was a whole lot of fun.

After we got back from Florida, we were right back out on the road the next weekend, this time to Chicago to see Kyoko Obachan and Ed. It was so good to see them again I miss Kyoko when I don't see her. When I got there, we spent some time right away just playing and catching up.

Unfortunately the travels had taken it out of me a little bit because a bit later I had a mini-meltdown of sorts. Good thing Mom was there to help me come down by taking care of me.

I recovered soon after and we were back to playing.
Kyoko Obachan's house is much higher up than our house at home. I was fascinated by everything going on below.

And I was really happy that before I left I got to squeeze in time with Ed before I left. However, I think I was pretty darn tired from all my playing.

I told Mom and Dad, I want to go back to Chicago soon.

Jack

Spring Break!

Over Easter I headed down to Florida with Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunts Julie, Lisa, and Maggie. I have a lot of stories to tell about our trip.

We headed out on the plane. I was a good boy on the way down. After a while I got tired and Dad and I took a nap. I think he needed it a little more than me.

I was really happy when we got down to Florida. I laid on the big bed, got to wear short sleeves and some clothes that gave me easy access to my toes.

The first afternoon we had lots of fun hanging by the pool, but I think the sun and the swimming wore me out. Fortunately Mom was there to let me rest.
On Easter we woke up early for Mass and I wore my fancy new Easter outfit. I was such a good boy during Easter Mass and then at breakfast afterward.
Probably the most interesting part of the trip was my time in the pool. Grandma and my Aunts bought me a nice inner tube that let me float around in the pool. I was a little unsure about it at the beginning so I hung out on the side.

And then I was a bit more brave...
...so Dad took me out for a spin in the middle of the pool and I had so much fun.
Soon enough I became so comfortable with my new ride that I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

That gave Dad the opportunity to have a drink.

And when it was all said and done, vacation was very restful.

At the end of our trip, we had a great dinner on a beautiful night. I got to sit at the head of the table. This was a really good time as was the rest of the trip. I can't wait to go on vacation again.

Opening Day - Part 2

It's a bit overdue now but I wanted to share a few pictures of my Opening Day experience. I was spending the day with Grandma and she told me that we were going to go downtown to see Mom and Dad and watch the Opening Day parade. There were lots of fun things to see.

Here's me watching the parade:

Here's Dad and me. He thinks he's being very funny. At least I have a reason (teething) to make funny faces. I don't know what his excuse is.

Here's me, Dad, and Grandma. Grandma was really nice to bring me down so I could see the parade.

But by the end of the day I was pretty tired and I needed to rest with Mommy. I heard we won later but I thought the parade was the best part.

Anyway, I have a big backlog of pictures and stories to tell, I will try to get caught up soon. Hope everyone is well.

Love,
Jack

Opening Day

Dad has been telling me about Opening Day for months now and I am very excited. He tells me the Reds haven't been so good the last few years but I think that me being around could make all the difference. Hope springs eternal. Go Reds!

Fun Weekend!

Hey everyone. I had such a good time this weekend and I wanted to tell everyone about it. First, on Friday after Dad got home at work we had a boys trip over to the racetrack -- it was me and Dad and Grandpa. Here's a picture of me and Grandpa, I was "looking up" to him. Before anyone asks, that was not my beer in my cupholder, that was Dad's.

After we got home, Mom came home from having dinner with her friend Jenn. She stayed around and played with me.

We had a fun time on Saturday too, though unfortunately Mom and Dad didn't take any pictures. My friend Merrie came over to watch the basketball games and her Mom and Dad came over too, along with other friends of my Mom and Dad.

On Sunday, I got in my high chair for the first time. I still don't really like this solid food...
...but I'm trying.
Anyway, before I go, here's a picture that Mom took of Dad and me that we really like.

More soon.
