Exciting news about my new friend and other stories

Hi everyone! Exciting news tonight. I got my first pet all for me tonight, my new cat Sally. She's about 1 year old and she's just as sweet as can be (don't tell her but her back legs are a little wobbly but we think it makes her cute). Here's a picture of me getting to know her.

And here's a picture of her hanging out on the couch.

We feel really lucky to have her here at our home, she's going to fit in great and we think Biscuit could use a new friend (even though they are just getting used to one another right now).

By the way, Mom thought it would be a good idea if I told everyone that we got Sally from some very wonderful people that run a shelter for kitties in O'Bryonville. If anyone is ever interested in adopting a cat, we highly recommend them. Here's their site:

In other news, here's a pretty great picture of me hanging out in a onesie that Jim and Melissa Benedict gave me. It's a shirt from their favorite band, Phish. I am trying to grow my hair long to make it work with this shirt, but my hair seems to keep getting shorter and shorter.

Here's a picture of me and Mom hanging out the other night. Aren't I getting long?

Here's a couple funny pictures of me hanging out with my Godfather, Greg. He has some funny whiskers on his face and I liked to pull on them. He didn't seem to enjoy it as much.
And then he tickled me with his whiskers by giving me kisses. It might not look like it from this picture, but, trust me, I was cracking up laughing, having the best time. Ask Mom and Dad if you don't believe me, they were there.

Finally, I am hesitant to post these pictures but...the other night, I just wasn't in the best mood. In fact, I kind of had a meltdown. When it was all over, I was worn out. Mom and Dad took my shirt off since they know I like it better naked and then I got tuckered out and fell fast asleep on the pullout. Here's a couple pictures of me with my rabbit.

Anyway, hope everyone's brackets are doing better than mine. I entered the KMK pool and am almost in last. I guess that's what happens when you have Xavier and UK in the final game.

Hope to see everyone soon.

Love,
Jack

Sorry I've been quiet - it happens so rarely!

Wow. It's been a while since I posted but I think you'll see that I have been very, very busy. I have many stories to tell and like always, the best I can do is by picture. I may have the chronology mixed up, but here's what I've been doing.

First, Papaw Boggs has come up to babysit me a couple of times recently. He put his hat on me which we all thought was pretty funny.

About a week ago Kyoko Obachan came in to see me. We had a lot of fun playing around and then she helped put me to bed. Here she is reading me a story -- in Japanese which was a fun change.

Also, a little bit ago Mom, Dad, and I went down to see Candy, Corey, and Gaby down in Lexington. It was really nice to see them again. Here's a picture of Gaby giving me a hug. I told Mom and Dad I didn't want to take another bath...:)
Yesterday Mom, Dad and I went back down to Lexington for the Xavier-Ohio State game. Here I am before the game hanging out (and hanging on) with Dad and his family. We went into the game. They made me have a ticket, can you believe it? We were able to track one down and I was really good the whole game. I was really sad when it was over. Then again it had been a while since I had eaten.

A few nights prior Mom's friends came over to hang out while Dad and his family went down to the BYU game. Here is a picture of me hanging out with "Aunts" Christina and Sara. We had such a fun night hanging out. This is Aunt Christina's first appearance on my blog, but that's not to say that she hasn't been a good friend to me and given me lots of fun stuff. (Inside joke...ha ha).

Finally, here's a picture of me taking a fun walk with Mom and Dad last Saturday when it was really pretty out. By the way, Mom and Dad always told me the weather was nice sometimes around here, but ever since I was born it has been cold. It's so nice that there might be some warmth coming. Also, note that I got to sit in the stroller the "big boy" way.

Anyway, we went up to the top of the Carew Tower. Scary. That's all I have to say. I didn't even want to look at all.

Finally, in other news, I have learned to roll over from my belly to my back. It's a pretty good trick, but I would be lying if I said that the fact that I hate being on my belly is some significant motivation for rolling over.

Also, I haven't talked about my new friend Jane. Mom went back to something called "work" about a month ago. I go see Grandma on two of those days (and, wow, are we having a good time) but on the other three my new friend Jane comes and takes care of me. She is one of Aunt Lisa's friends. We do lots of fun things during the day and I really like the days she comes over. I will post pictures of us hanging out soon.

Anyway, I hope to see all of you soon. I am getting so big, you need to see me often or you might not recognize me.

Love,
Jack

A new feature

Hi everyone. I thought I would try out a potential new feature here on my blog, that being adding some video content. I don't know how it's going to work, but I thought I might be able to do better than just pictures and at the same time show off the camera that Grandma and Grandpa got us for Christmas.

So, anyway here is a link to youtube of me getting ready to get in the bath tonight and me responding to Dad's general silliness.

Speaking of, sorry about him, he's pretty embarassing and his high-pitched jumping around is something only his son could love (so not much luck for the rest of you).

Hope you enjoy.
