A Day in the Life
With respect to sleeping, I like to do that a lot too -- my preference is to do it more in the morning and afternoon than overnight. I think that should work out fine since Mom and Dad are sleeping at night. This way someone is always up to keep an eye on the cats.
I still love to take baths with Dad every couple days. He thinks he keeps me from sinking. He doesn't know that I could float without him but I simply choose not to.
I really love to sit in my swing, it plays these crickets that really chill me out if I am upset. I like my pacifier. I like when Mom and Dad sit in the rocking chair. I like when I can sleep on Mom or Dad's chest, but I might be getting too big, too quick for that.
I've been staying busy though I always make time to blog.
Anyway, here are some pictures of me just bumming around.

A Very Busy Week - Part 2
On Friday, Mom, Dad and I all got some overdue rest. I think we all needed it. Since there was lots of sleeping and resting, I don't think anyone grabbed the camera at all.
On Friday night, Grandma and Grandpa along with Aunts Julie and Maggie came down to see me. It was third day in a row I had seen Dad's family -- I think they like me.

Finally on Saturday and Sunday I went down to Bardstown to see Papaw and Mimi Boggs and the rest of the Boggs crew for Thanksgiving. It was also my first chance to see Aunt Frances who it was nice to meet.

A Very Busy Week - Part 1
First, Kyoko Bachan and Ed came in to see me last weekend. This was the first time they had gotten to see me and we sure had a good time.

On Monday Aunt Lisa and Cousin Eric came over and watched the Xavier game with me. Given everyone's reaction, I'm thinking the bad team won.
I stopped in at the doctor on Tuesday. I weighed in at 9 lbs., 1.5 ounces. So I gained almost a pound in the two weeks since my birth and I gained well over a pound since I left the hospital (I lost a little before I left -- hospital food, you know?).
On Wednesday Aunt Lisa came over after work to hang out with me. Then Grandma and Aunts Maggie and Julie came down to babysit me while Mom and Dad ran some errands. I thought it would be pretty funny if I was a real handful for Julie and Maggie changing my diaper right when Mom and Dad came home.
On Thursday I got up early and went down and watched Dad run in the Thanksgiving race. Dad sure seemed very tired and he wasn't even very far from home, I don't know what was wrong with him. I was quite bundled up as I hadn't spent much time outside before. Later I went to the racetrack with my Dad, Grandpa and Aunts Lisa, Maggie and Julie. That sure was fun.
Finally on Thursday I went to Aunt and Uncle Meg and Mark's for Thanksgiving Dinner with Dad's family. It was so fun to see everybody and lots of people held me. Mom took this picture of Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa which was cool.

The Big Game
Aunt Julie says, "Go Blue!"
It's driving me nuts.

One Week Down...
Today I went to the doctor. He said that I am doing really, really well. I am up to 8 pounds, 8 ounces which is a pretty good weight gain since I was down to 7 pounds, 13 ounces after birth. I passed all of my other tests, which is exciting. Dr. Ng was impressed with how strong I was -- all the time in the gym has really paid off, I think.
Last night Mom and Dad gave me another bath and this time I was actually in the tub, not just under the sink. Here are some fun pictures.

I wonder if people can guess who is holding me up in this picture (the rubber band is a giveway for most people).

This picture is sure to send web traffic on this blog past Google.

And after it was all over, I was looking clean and happy. Thanks for the new pajamas, Grandma.

Like I said last time, I'll check in soon.

Meeting Great-Grandpa and other news

In other news, I took my first trip (other than coming home) in the car yesterday - Mom and Dad went out to breakfast and I was so good. I took a nap the whole time and just let them eat. It looked like they needed a tiny break.
They subjected me to yet another sponge bath last night, so it looks like this might be a recurring thing. I decided if that was the case I might need to get used to it, so I decided to have my reaction be a bit more calm.
Other than that, I am really eating very well now and my sleeping has dramatically improved. I have pretty much been sleeping through the nights, except when they wake me up to feed me. Even then I go right back to sleep.
But that doesn't mean I don't like to take naps, I have definitely been doing a lot of that. The best naps are when Mom and Dad join me.

I'll check in soon.

People I've Met
My First Bath
Even when it was over and I was dry, I still wasn't too happy with the experience.
I hope that I never have to take one again.

I'm Home!

More to come...
My First Full Day
Anyway, I just wanted to say that my first full day was very exciting and that I continue to do really well. Today is the day that I am going to go home and I can't wait. Once I get home and to a more reliable web connection, I expect to post a lot of pictures.
